Mr. VanPercy has worked as an investment banker for close to twenty years. He is a chartered Accountant by training and is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England & Wales. He is the Chairman of CAL Assets Management Company Limited, and holds directorships on the Boards of Ghana Leasing Company Limited; the Liberian Bank for Development and Investment and AfriHoldings Limited, a Mauritius based company.

Mr. Frank Brako Adu Jnr
Mr. Frank Adu Jr. is an Investment Banker and the Managing Director of the bank. He was the Chairman of the Council of the Ghana Stock Exchange, the GSE Securities Depository Company and the Roman Ridge School. He is a member of the Board of Okyeman Environment Foundation and the University College of Agriculture and Environment. He is also Chairman of the Golden Beach Hotels Group (La Palm Beach Hotel, Elmina Beach Resort and Busua Beach Resort)

Mrs. Leonora Awua-Kyerematen
Mrs. Leonora Awua-Kyerematen is a member of the Ghana Bar Association and the International Federation of Women Lawyers (FIDA). She is an executive member of the Christian Council of Ghana. She also is a Board member of the Christian Community Mutual Fund.

Mr. James Brenner
Mr. Brenner is the President and CEO of Broad Cove Partners, and Director of Ghana Home Loans Limited and is a member and founding Chairman of the Board of the Overseas Vote Foundation.

Mr. Malcolmn Pryor
Mr. Pryor has worked as an Investment Banker for thirty four years. He began his career as an Institutional Fixed Income Salesman with Goldman Sachs & Co. He was Chief Executive Officer of Pryor, Counts & Co, Inc for twenty four years. For the past four years he has been Chief Executive of a Private Equity Fund investing in the southern Africa region (SAEDF). He has been a principal investor in Western and Central Africa since 1987 principally in the financial services sector; as a founding shareholder of CAL Bank, the African Export Import and Ghana Home Loans as well as a founding shareholder of the Merchant Bank of East Africa. He has been a member of the New York Cocoa and Coffee Exchange and the Philadelphia Stock Exchange a market maker in equity options.    He has served o the Board of Directors of both listed and unlisted Company’s in Retailing, Health care, Hospitality, Insurance and Engineering services. He was recently recognized as a leader in the area of Africa Investing by the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.

Dr. Kobina Quansah
Dr. Kobina Quansah, a banker by profession, is the Chairman of Vodafone Ghana as well as Core Nett. He is a director of Unique Insurance Limited and Pioneer Aluminum Kitchenware Limited. He is a member of the Advisory Council of Newmont Ghana Gold Limited as well as a member of the Executive Council of Finatrade Foundation.

Mr. Kakra Essamuah
Mr Essamuah is a qualified Solicitor and Barrister, who was admitted to the Ghana Bar in October 1992 and has since been in private legal practice. He first worked at da Rocha Chambers from 1992 to 2000 and has operated his own law firm, City Law Consult in Accra, from October 2000 to date. . He was educated at the University of Ghana, Legon and qualified from the Ghana School of Law, Accra.

Eduardo Gutierrez
Eduardo joined DPI in September 2008 with 12 years of African Private Equity experience, having previously been an Executive Director of Brait South Africa Limited and Brait private equity Division, as well as Principal of Brait’s Private Equity Fund III and Brait’s Private Equity Fund IV. Brait is one of South Africa’s leading private equity firms with a strong investment track record. His responsibilities included originating investment ideas and accountability for executing investments, as well as fundraising and investor relations. He was actively involved in the management of investment teams and review of their performance, as well as the management of investments once concluded and ensuring that investment plans were achieved. Several investments effected and managed by Eduardo have been or are listed on the Johannesburg Stock Exchange. Prior to Brait, Eduardo was a Corporate Finance Manager at JCI Limited, a large South African based mining house. He advised the executive committee on various corporate finance and business development matters. A qualified chartered accountant, Eduardo trained at KPMG in South Africa, where he worked on and managed statutory audits of a number of companies across various industries before becoming a Senior Consultant in the Forensic & Investigative Accounting Group. Eduardo holds a B.Sc. (Med.) (Majors in Biochemistry and Physiology) and B.Sc. (Med.) Honours (Medical Biochemistry) from Cape Town University (1988 and 1989, respectively). He is a citizen of South Africa and Spain.

Charles Asare

Mr. Charles Kwame Asare has over 25 years of banking and finance experience in corporate Africa and the USA. He currently works as a consultant specialising in financial and management advisory assignments with private and public sector institutions. He was the Chief Financial and Operating Officer for GPHA Inc. of Philadelphia until 2007. He also served as the Director General of the Social Security and National Insurance Trust (SSNIT) of Ghana from 1998 to 2001. Prior to SSNIT, from 1994-1998, Mr. Asare headed HSBC Equator Bank’s (subsidiary of the HSBC Bank Group) West African operations providing financial, advisory and fund management services, to companies and governments. From 1990-1994, he was an Assistant General Manager at Ecobank Ghana Limited, responsible for business development in corporate banking and corporate finance. Mr. Asare holds an MBA from Tuck Business School, Dartmouth College, USA and a BA (Economics) Degree from Haverford College, USA.
